The recent New York Times article, “How Yoga Can Wreck Your Body,” has created a stir in the yoga community and beyond. The author makes some very valid points about people pushing themselves too far in yoga practice and aggravating old injuries or causing new ones, which is generally not something that people think about as yoga is generally considered a gentle form of exercise.
